Chenjiazi Zhong, PhD

Founder

Before founding Fundopedia, Dr. Chenjiazi Zhong (钟陈佳子) was a lead portfolio manager and strategy CIO at top-tier global asset management companies, where she was responsible for asset allocation, investment selection, portfolio construction, and management. Dr. Zhong has managed over 50 investment portfolios for institutional investors (sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, pension plans, educational and nonprofit organizations), the performance of which has outperformed consistently.

Dr. Zhong also supplies global asset management and financial services companies with financially astute investment-content strategies and investor communications. Dr. Zhong published the book “Alternatives Thinker: Endowment Investment Philosophy to Active Portfolio Management” in 2013, “Strategies That Chinese Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Use to Attract Venture Capital” in 2018,”Climate-Conscious Investing: Portfolios Aligned with the Paris Accords” in 2024 (in production), and is in the process of publishing “Digital Assets Unveiled: Mastering Their Integration into Traditional Investment Portfolios.” As an investment expert and guest investment writer, Dr. Zhong’s weekly column, “Market Recap with Jiazi,” was published by SprinkleBit every Sunday from 2013 to 2017.

Dr. Zhong obtained a doctorate in finance, an MBA in finance, and a dual degree in international economics and business administration. Dr. Zhong is certified in ESG Investing by the CFA Institute, Financial and Valuation Modeling by Wall Street Prep, and Six Sigma by the American Society for Quality. Dr. Zhong is a regular member of the CFA Institute, a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success, and a professional member of the International Association of Professional Writers and Editors.

Chief Legal Officer

Christian Meade is the chief legal officer of Fundopedia and stands at the forefront of legal expertise in the financial services industry. With an illustrious academic background culminating in a law degree from Harvard Law School, Christian has carved out a remarkable career path distinguished by over two decades of dedicated service.

His tenure in these institutions has marked a deep commitment to legal excellence, regulatory compliance, and strategic risk management.

Renowned for his expertise in complex financial regulations, corporate governance, and compliance strategies, Christian has effectively navigated the intricate legal challenges unique to the financial services industry. His work has mitigated risks and propelled his companies forward by ensuring they operate within the bounds of the law while achieving their strategic goals.

Benjamin J. Xin

Chief Operating Officer

Benjamin J. Xin serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Fundopedia. An alumnus of Harvard Business School, Benjamin’s academic credentials laid the groundwork for a career characterized by significant achievements and professional mastery.

Before joining Fundopedia in July 2022, Benjamin left an indelible mark on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), where he held the position of Managing Director from January 1999 to June 2022. Based in New York City, his tenure at the NYSE was marked by strategic initiatives that bolstered the exchange’s global standing, innovative product developments, and a keen focus on leveraging technology to enhance trading efficiency and market integrity. Benjamin carefully considered his transition to Fundopedia. He wanted to leverage his extensive experience in the financial sector to make a tangible impact on the operational strategies of an emerging leader in the financial information industry.

At Fundopedia, Benjamin has been instrumental in streamlining operations, enhancing product development processes, and establishing strategic partnerships that have broadened the company’s reach and capabilities.

Jean Boivin, PhD

Director of Research

Jean Boivin is the Director of Research at Fundopedia, where he leads a dynamic team in advancing the firm’s research methodologies and enhancing investment strategies.

With a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago, Jean has an extensive background in financial markets and economic theory. Prior to joining Fundopedia, he held significant roles in policy analysis and academic research, including serving as an economic advisor at the Bank of Canada.

At Fundopedia, Jean focuses on integrating cutting-edge technologies and data analytics to deepen the understanding of market dynamics and improve investment outcomes. His work emphasizes the synthesis of quantitative data and macroeconomic trends to develop robust investment models.
