Disclosure Policy

I am a portfolio management professional responsible for fund due diligence, asset allocation, and portfolio structuring and optimization. In this role, I have constructed over 30 U.S. institutional investors’ portfolios, the performance of which has met the investors’ objectives and other requirements. Prior to this position, I worked as an investment banking analyst at Lehman Brothers. I published the book “Alternatives Thinker: Endowment Investment Philosophy to Active Portfolio Management” in 2013. Serving as a guest writer, my weekly column, “Investment Conversations with Chenjiazi”, sponsored by SprinkleBit Holdings Inc., is published on Mondays, covering topics of technical analysis, portfolio theories, investment techniques, and risk management with alternative investments.

I maintain this website in an effort to offer investor education. Since the summer of 2013, the website has also functioned as a communication platform for the investors who are looking to investment advisory services. I would like to help the readers and investors to understand the evolution of portfolio construction methodologies, investment products, as well as the research revolution in behavioral finance. Readers will find it beneficial, whether from the standpoint of allocating to new investment styles and strategies in order to gain broader diversification, or from the standpoint of a specialist needing to better understand the competing options available to sophisticated investors globally. What I expect most for the readers and investors to know is that finance, despite its flaws, is a force that potentially can create a better and more prosperous world. Our passion, efforts, and intelligence are needed to achieve this goal.

This is a personal website organized and edited after work hours. All the investment perspectives and opinions expressed here are purely and entirely my own, based on my portfolio management experience. They do not represent the views of my firm. I do not claim to be nor make an effort to be an expert on any certain topic.
